Q1. How do I book?
A. You can book online by using our website, it is the easiest and fastest method. Alternatively, you can call or WhatsApp our team on 0852513331 or email us at info@mayobouncycastles.ie. When you book, it is important that any details you provide (name, address, Eircode, contact numbers etc) are complete and correct.
Q2. When should I book?
A. It is strongly advised that you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. While last-minute bookings are welcome, we cannot guarantee the availability of your desired bouncy castle. Due to high demand during the month of May, we recommend you book several months in advance.
Q3. How long can I book for?
A. Currently we do two days for the price of one. However, if you wish to book for more than two days please call us on 0852513331.
Q4. Is there anything I need to do before booking?
A. Please measure the garden or venue to see if the bouncy castle will fit. Remember that the castle will need 3 feet of extra space all around and 6 feet of extra space at the entrance/exit of the bouncy castle for safety reasons. Also, ensure that the space made available is free from any sharp or hazardous objects and is clean.
Q5. What type of surface is needed for the bouncy castle?
A. For outdoor bookings we require a grass or lawn area so we can secure the bouncy castle down with stakes. We recommend this area be as flat as possible. For safety reasons, Mayo Bouncy Castles will never set up a bouncy castle outdoors on bark, dirt, artificial grass, tarmac, concrete, gravel or other similar types of surfaces.
Q6. Do you set up equipment indoors?
A. Yes! All of our bouncy castles are available for hire indoors (community, sports hall etc). We are also fully insured for indoor hires.
Q7. Do you set up equipment on the green area of an estate?
A. For safety and insurance reasons, Mayo Bouncy Castles will never set up or leave any equipment on the green area of an estate. All of our inflatables must be set up on private property (back gardens etc) or a private venue you have hired (community hall, hotel etc).
Q8. Where do you deliver?
A. We provide bouncy castle hire and delivery throughout County Mayo. Please check our Delivery Areas page for a full list of locations we deliver to. We also service areas of counties Galway, Sligo and Roscommon.
Q9. What time do you deliver?
A. We generally have a large volume of deliveries to fulfil, so we always aim to deliver the day before your booking date to ensure all our customers have their inflatable well in advance of their party or special occasion. For example, if you book for Saturday and Sunday, we will deliver sometime on the Friday. A member of our team will contact you closer to your booking date to arrange an exact time of delivery on the Friday.
Q10. What time do you collect?
A. We always aim to collect your hire the day after your booking date. That means you don't need to worry about us collecting your bouncy castle early or in the middle of your party!
Q11. How much do I pay?
A. All hire prices are available on our website. Prices vary depending on the size, type and design of the bouncy castle. There is also a delivery surcharge applied to some locations. No deposit or payment is taken at the time of booking.
Q12. Do you offer any special rates or discounts?
A. Yes we do! Depending on the total booking value, we sometimes offer a discount when you book multiple (e.g two or more) inflatables for the same date. Additionally, we offer a special rate of just an extra €50 for any extra days you wish to hire.
Q13. How do I pay?
A. We are currently taking all payments by cash upon delivery. Please be advised that all payments must be made available on delivery of the bouncy castle, as Mayo Bouncy Castles will not be able to leave any equipment on site until payment is made. No deposit is required.
Q14. What if it rains or the wind is too strong?
A. Most of our inflatables have built-in covers and are suitable for use in light rain or a short moderate shower. However, if the weather is too bad, you can re-book your inflatable for another day. In situations where the winds are too strong, or high winds are forecast, Mayo Bouncy Castles will refuse to deliver and immediately cancel the booking.
Q15. What is your cancellation policy?
A. There is no cancellation fee and you can cancel anytime before delivery. However, it is recommended you let us know as soon as possible, as the inflatable held for you is not available for booking by other customers. Mayo Bouncy Castles also reserve the right to cancel a booking if deemed necessary (e.g refusal to make payment on delivery, garden or venue is unsuitable or unsafe to set up equipment, inclement weather conditions etc).
Q16. Are your inflatables safe?
A. Yes! All of our inflatables are manufactured in accordance with European safety standards (BS EN14960/2019) and are safety tested every year.
Q17. Does the inflatable need to be supervised?
A. Yes, a responsible adult must supervise the unit at all times. Never leave the inflatable unattended and please ensure that all the health and safety procedures you are provided with are followed at all times.
Q18. Do you have insurance?
A. Yes, we are fully insured and hold Public Liability Insurance for your peace of mind. This means we are insured for backyard parties, school events and much more!
